The quay was looking especially nice with all the snow that had arrived the night before. After taking pictures of the resident swans I focused on some of the quirkier bridges and winter wonderland scenes in the area.

I often see sunrises while I'm cycling to work along the river but when you combine them with fog the colours and shapes are unbelievably beautiful resulting in photographs that almost look like a genuine painting.
